Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient General Cashier to join our team in Al Khobar Saudi Arabia. As a General Cashier you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions ensuring accuracy in cash handling and providing excellent customer service.

  • Verify and process all daily collected payments ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare bank deposits for checks and cash maintaining proper documentation
  • Collect and count cash and checks from various departments reconciling them against computerized reports
  • Manage the general cashiers daily report detailing cash collections and other forms of payment
  • Provide cashiers with required change including extra amounts for special occasions
  • Reimburse cashiers for authorized disbursements and maintain accurate records
  • Count and account for personal fund daily properly documenting all disbursements
  • Oversee foreign currency transactions and update exchange rates as necessary
  • Manage and disburse petty cash ensuring proper documentation and authorization
  • Assist in conducting surprise cash counts of all housefloat custodians
  • Maintain books of final entries and post monthly transaction summaries
  • Support internal and external audits responding to audit objectives and statements
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cashier preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Proficiency in computer systems including POS software and financial management tools
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle large sums of money accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and cash handling procedures
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Familiarity with foreign currency exchange processes
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required
  • Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions
