Job Summary:
A Brighter Future Healthcare Services Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide highquality care to clients in their homes. The Homecare CNA will assist with daily living activities personal care and health monitoring ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients. This position requires adherence to all applicable laws and regulations in North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility including transfers from bed to wheelchair walking and range of motion exercises.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs including temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure.
- Medication Reminders: Assist clients with medication reminders and follow care plans as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients dietary needs and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning laundry and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided client condition and any changes observed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients family members and healthcare professionals regarding client care and needs.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure the wellbeing of clients and yourself.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of North Carolina.
- Experience: Prior experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred.
- CPR Certification: Current CPR certification required.
- Drivers License: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds stand bend and kneel for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated compassion patience and a strong desire to help others.
Work Environment:
- The Homecare CNA will work primarily in client homes providing oneonone care. This role may require flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays to meet clients needs.
