Waterford School is located in the beautiful rural area of Waterford Vermont on the New Hampshire border. It is a preschool through grade 8 public school that offers a small town feel with a big supportive board town and Elementary School is searching for a middle grades math intervention teacher to join our dynamic middle school team. Our middle school consists of grades 6 7 and 8. The successful candidate will work as part of a 5 person middle school instructional team that includes 3 classroom teachers a reading Interventionist and special Educator. This position works with the math teacher EST coordinator and special educator to determine appropriate supports for students who require intensive math intervention. The ability to use data to monitor student progress is a plus. Our ideal candidate in addition to possessing a strong math background is skilled and devoted to the development of middle school students as learners citizens and friends. Communication skills with students parents and colleagues are key as well as a simple love for working with this challenging yet strongly rewarding age group. A teacher with a Bachelors Degree and no experience the starting pay is $46240. A teacher with a Masters Degree and no experience starting pay is $49708.
