Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a Certified Operating Room/Surgical Tech (CST) internally referred as Surgical Technologist and/or Operating Room Technologist at Providence Medical Center (Kansas City KS) a member of Prime Healthcare. The Operating Room/Surgical Tech should be someone who is empathetic and has good communication skills. Bonus Options: up to a $10K bonus
Shifts Available: Days Monday through Friday (6:30am 3:00pm) with oncall requirement
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours: 8 hour shift

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
- responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
- maintaining sterile field during case
- providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
- able to work well under stressful and emergency situations
- able to act quickly and accurately
- some assistance in sterile processing may be necessary
Qualifications
Education and Training
Before we go any further we do have some dealbreakers. You must have:
- current CST certification upon hire and maintain current
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
- graduate from a surgical technology program accredited through ARC/STSA
