About The Role
We are seeking aSoftware Developerto join our Engineering Services Organization. In this role you will contribute to the development of internal engineering applications and support the Application Lifecycle Management toolchain for the R&D organization. This position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in either frontend or backend development.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development:Assist in creating and maintaining engineering applications dashboards and workflows to help the R&D team deliver products more efficiently.
Toolchain Integration:Support projects that integrate various engineering tools to enhance workflows and metrics across product management development quality assurance and infrastructure.
Data Management:Help establish data feeds into a centralized data lake for operational metrics.
Collaboration:Work closely with engineering service teams to support CI/CD SRE and SDLC best practices.
Team Support:Collaborate with your scrum team participating in discussions about projects and helping to address any roadblocks.
HandsOn Development:Engage in coding tasks to resolve issues and assist with proof of concept and rapid prototyping as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Education:MS/BS in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
13 years in software development.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Communication Skills:Good oral and written communication abilities.
Qualifications
Experience in any of these areas is desirable
FrontEnd Development:Basic experience with Angular React web components JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 and CSS.
BackEnd Development:Familiarity with Golang Python TypeScript or similar languages.
CloudNative Architectures:Understanding of cloudnative software application deployment.
API Development:Basic knowledge of creating RESTful APIs and integrating backend and clientside services.
Containerization:Familiarity with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Database Knowledge:Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.
