Support older Australians to live well Join our Aged Care Services team as a Speech Pathologist.


Remuneration:$56.69 $58.52 Per Hour Super

This is a Speech Pathologist Level 3 position. However if there are no appropriate Level 3 applicants applications from Level 1 and 2 will be considered. The selection criteria reflects the requirements for a Level 3 applicant. Responses from Level 1 or 2 applicants need to demonstrate their level of competence with regard to the same criteria and their ability to work towards Level 3. The expected performance of the incumbent will be commensurate with his/her years of experience and current level at commencement of appointment. The incumbent will work towards meeting the criteria for Level 3.

Our Aged Care Services team brings together the expertise of a Nurse Unit Manager Allied Health professionals Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) staff Aged Care Assessors and Psychogeriatric specialistsall working together to make a real difference every day.

You wont be on your ownyoull have the ongoing support of a fellow Speech Pathologist based at Wingham Community Hospital keeping you connected supported and confident in your clinical decisionmaking.


About the role:

Make every interaction count as a valued Speech Pathologist in our Aged Care Service. Your days will be filled with variety and purposedelivering comprehensive assessments tailored treatments and meaningful interventions that support independence participation and quality of life for older clients.

About you:

Were looking for a compassionate and driven clinician who:

  • Brings solid experience in aged care and/or rehabilitation
  • Has exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Embraces feedback and continuous learning
  • Works well independently and thrives in a collaborative team environment


Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience delivering speech pathology services in aged care or a related field

*Based on a minimum 18month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to parttime and contract employees will be made on a prorata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract including any approved extensions.
