Sentara Health is seeking a Team Lead Certified Nurse Midwifeto join our thriving Midwifery program on the beautiful peninsula ofVirginiaatSentara Careplex Hospital.With seamless access to specialists and other healthcare services our innovative midwives treat a diverse population within this wellsupported team. Position Highlights:
- Location: Hampton VA
- Participate in recruitment or new CNMs with the goal of building the program to 6 Midwives.
- Work with practice administrators to develop and maintain a clinic and call schedule for CNMs.
- Explore the possibility of beginning a centering model of prenatal care.
- Provide educational support for CNMs on the team.
- Attend and participate in regular meetings with group physicians and administrators including LDRP Ob/Gyn Associates SCH meetings and implement key policies within the midwifery division.
- Conduct regular meetings with the CNM team to ensure best practices.
- Serve as a model for professionalism.
