Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience. Must pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge in methods practices tools equipment and materials used in performing general building maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for providing general maintenance for the Student Center at Georgia State University.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Inspect buildings fixtures machines and other structural units noting their need for repair.
- Perform minor maintenance such as cleaning or lubricating equipment.
- Change interior lights/ ceiling tiles and other general facility needs
- Communicate when other plumbing/electrical/and HVAC needs require service.
