Are you looking for field experience working with Cat dealers but desire flexibility and reasonable travel The Americas Central Division is looking for an Aftermarket Sales Representative covering three dealers in the United Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering Construction Industries (CI) services growth and transforming how we meet customer needs. You will join a high performing diverse team of seven ASRs in the Central Division rich in a culture of customeroriented solutions collaboration and accountability.
Role Summary: Responsible for attaining total parts sales business plan in assigned territory of three dealers while leading the transformation of a customeroriented sales & marketing culture. Accountable for delivering aftermarket growth for parts and servicesaligned with the Construction Industries Services Division strategy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve annual business plan including CI sales to users (STU) customer value agreements (CVA) growth rebuild growth and prioritized service events (PSEs) for the assigned territory.
Partner with dealers parts and service sales management sales reps product specialists and marketing management to influence sales execution.
Drive adoption of sales funnel management with dealer leadership and sales representatives to improve sales performance and achieve sales targets.
Drive dealer and customer adoption of customerfacing digital platforms including Cat Central and .
Regularly visit customers to understand unmet customer needs and attain customer insights. Communicate the Voice of Customer and Voice of Dealer to Sales Support teams and Services Development product groups and/or other internal stakeholders.
Deliver profitable growth leveraging the Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) methodology.
Optimize parts sales variance utilization within budget to drive incremental business.
Manage travel & entertainment budget.
What You Have (Core Skills)
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the aftermarket and services business. Knowledge of construction industry trends directions major issues; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
Relationship Management: Build strong relationships within Caterpillar matrix organization to influence results for assigned dealer territories
Effective Communications: Ability to engage with all levels of an organization (individual contributor through management) to motivate influence change and execute with ambiguity
Negotiating: Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need or defending a position
Customer Focus: Solutionoriented attitude persistence and resilience and customerback mindset
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgement
Additional Key to Success (Desired Qualifications)
Bachelors degree
Prior experience in a dealerfacing field assignment (or equivalent)
Proven strong organization skills to selfmanage time and prioritize responsibilities
Territory and Location Details
Travel: 30%
This role will be located in a U.S. CISD hub: Peoria IL; Cary NC; Dallas TX
Caterpillar requires 5 days per week of onsite work (MF)
Relocation assistance is available for this position to Peoria IL only
Summary Pay Range:
$110520.00 $165840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
