Security Officer Retail Mobile Patrol Full Time

Location:Fountain CO
Rate:$18.62/HR
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. TheMobile Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel visitors and the area.
The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid drivers license and clean driving history to be a great fit for this role!
What Your Day May Look Like:
- Greet customers and client employees in a professional manner.
- Conduct mobile patrols to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked entrances/exits mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
- Monitor entrances / exits and customers provide guidance as needed and assists Asset Protection with information gathering.
- Complete daily activity incident reports and logs via client system.
- Provide an atmosphere in which all customers client employees and management know their needs are being met.
- Present a good image to the client client employees and customers.
- Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property.
- Protect evidence or the scene of the incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; set up barriers and signage and provide direction or information to others.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives company management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and / or as required by the site.
- Act to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accordance with client standards.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
- Must understand the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
- Must have swing shift availability.
- Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
- Conflict resolution and deescalation skills a plus.
- Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Intermediate computer / technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports / logs (via handheld devices and computers) camera monitoring and reporting alarms.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers vendors drivers general public coworkers Asset Protection and Office Management.
- Must be open to communication and feedback from client employees and Office Management.
- Must be able to stand for majority of shift take 15minute breaks and adhere to lunch period.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation / force if required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
- Mut be able to work in a fastpaced environment remain organized / professional and check customer receipts.
- Must provide high quality customer service inperson over the phone and via radio.
- Must have a personal vehicle Colorado Drivers License and a clean driving record to be eligible for mobile patrol.
- Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card License and maintain it every year.
- Must be able to attend inperson interview and inperson orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
- Security military or law enforcement experience a plus.
