Within the iFA (Integrated Factory Automation) group there is an opportunity for a skilled electrical technician from either a maintenance or installation background. Youll work to specifications and perform the inhouse manufacturing installation and commissioning of automation equipment.
Primarily responsible for productivity improvement projects across site the iFA department deliver bespoke engineering solutions. By designing building installing and commissioning from concept to handover we provide the business with cost effective solutions to improve the plants competitiveness. This ranges from AGVs (Automatic Guided Vehicles) Robotic loading systems transportation systems or smaller applications such as operator tooling all with the aim of improving efficiency and reducing costs. In this job you will play a critical role by focussing your technician skills to ensure the business needs are met.
With the recent plant developments for a new EV we are expanding our workshop team. As part of our department we offer the ability to learn and develop that cannot be matched. Training courses ranging from Robot programming (Fanuc) PLCs (Omron and Siemens) and Pneumatics etc are just some of a few available.
