Network Transformation Program Manager, EU Planning Network Transformation

Amazon EU Network Design Programs team is responsible for getting Amazon packages to customers more reliably faster cheaper and with a lower carbon intensity while managing to grow the shipped volume by double digits every year.

As a Program Manager for Network Transformation youll lead programs driving strategic initiatives and solving recurring problems around delivery quality speed cost and carbon intensity of the Amazon Transportation network. The scale of the impact youll have will be on the whole European Amazon network and lasting in time. Your goal is not just to solve problems once but also to build new tools and improve processes to make sure the problems stay solved. This is essential to the scalability of the Amazon Transportation Network.

Key job responsibilities
Define the frameworks to make tradeoffs between quality speed cost and carbon intensity
Find situations in the network where these tradeoffs are not applied correctly leading to an inefficient network
Build a proof of concept to solve the problem initially
Work with Business Intelligence / Software Development to automate the methodology
Set up the mechanism to regularly review the gaps in optimality and suggest network changes to make sure the problem stays fixed

About the team
Our team changes the way Amazon packages get from our warehouses to our customers to improve quality speed cost and carbon efficiency all at the same time while managing doubledigit yearly volume growth.

We help Amazon Transportation get ready for the Christmas period and tackle big recurring problems all to remove waste from the network.

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience in program or project management
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience defining and executing program requirements

Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience leading process improvements
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules
