Controller

ALL4 is seeking an experienced Controller to work in our corporate office in the Greater Philadelphia Region. This individual will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company. This role requires someone who is detailoriented strategic and handson in overseeing the financial operations of our dynamic missiondriven firm. The Controller will lead all accounting functions ensure compliance with GAAP and industryspecific financial regulations and partner with other finance personnel in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to support executive decisionmaking.

This position requires strong analytical skills leadership capabilities and experience in the professional services or consulting industryideally in environmental or engineering sectors.

• Supervise and coordinate accounting and financial operations staff.
• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll bank reconciliations and monthend/yearend close as well as oversee the accounting for foreign currency translations and transactions including transfer pricing assessments and analyses.
• Manage domestic and international treasury functions including partnering with the CFO in support of lender relations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and other reports as requested by internal/external stakeholders.
• Support operational decisions with consistent actionable and accurate operational information.
• Develop and monitor budgets job costing and project profitability reporting.
• Partner with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with federal state and local tax requirements and filing obligations.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with project managers to analyze financial performance and support cost control.
• Coordinate with HR and operations for payroll benefits and labor cost analysis.
• Support strategic planning and risk management initiatives.
• Assist with due diligence and integration activities related to acquisitions.
• Manage and coordinate accounting and financial operations staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
• Experience in consulting engineering or environmental services industries is preferred.
• Experience in a highgrowth lowtomiddle market acquisitive company and work in a private equity sponsored company strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP job costing projectbased accounting and financial reporting.
• Previous experience with foreign/international operations including foreign exchange. accounting on financial statements and treasury activities.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Deltek QuickBooks or ERP systems) and Excel.
• Experience and basic to intermediate capabilities with Power Bi.
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead a small but growing finance team.
