Job Description

Why Patients Need You

The US Specialty Care I&I GTMx & Transformation (Director) 69 Month Secondment will be responsible for ensuring Enterprise & CMO Office initiatives are pulled through to drive performance and value for the US I&I Portfolio. This role will interface with various HQ/Enterprise teams and act as the POC and I&I subject matter expert to ensure initiatives are aligned to the broader I&I strategy. Additionally this role will lead the downstream execution communication and metric/KPI creation & alignment with relevant I&I teams (Marketing Sales CE etc.) and crossfunctional partners.

This role will also support launch readiness activities across the I&I portfolio and will lead key business processes in partnership with TAspecific Commercial Excellence Directors and Business Insights & Reporting colleagues.

The colleague will join a distinctive function with demonstrated record of preparing colleagues for promoted opportunities across various functions e.g. sales leadership account management leadership marketing commercial operations advanced analytics.

What You Will Achieve

The individual should possess a combination of strategic thinking analytical expertise project management skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities. A growth mindset strong matrix leadership and ability to influence others is required to help the US I&I organization achieve aggressive patient impact and revenue targets. S/he will report directly to the US I&I Commercial Effectiveness Lead and collaborate closely with respective Therapeutic Area Marketing Teams and Commercial Excellence Directors and Operation Managers the CMO office Pfizer Connect Customer/Patient facing teams Business Insights & Reporting Medical BioPharma Operations and Digital.

How You Will Achieve It

Accelerating:

  • The I&I US Business Transformation with the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) by participating and leading GTMx projects leveraging an extensive network to seek out and apply learnings for greater efficiency or faster impact by maximizing the use of matrixed and enabling function teams.

  • Development and execution of tactical plans to adjust the GTMX path forward based on assessment of learnings

  • Work with BU and POD stakeholders to stand up relevant measurement and metrics to assess GTMx impact

  • Activation of leaders within I&I US as Champions/Ambassadors of GMTx transformations

Leading:

  • Critical I&I operational processes (PMO Engine Resource Prioritization overall portfolio deployment projects) and build Lightspeed & Growth Mindset capabilities across teams

  • Build out TAspecific AI & ML capabilities; define a way of working model to ensure opportunities are identified/captured at Lightspeed and integrated in key CFC systems

  • GTMx Transformation vision strategy and execution support Brand Teams on metrics/KPIs development and pullthrough tactics

  • Shape strategic vision and execution of the BU Pfizer connect and GTMx implementation plan

  • Communications of GTMx platform through partnership with central Change Management and Communications to ensure cohesive messaging for the BU in a timely manner

  • Building a capability development platform to meet the needs of our evolving commercial colleague capabilities (Sales Leaders Marketing Xfunctional)

Supporting:

  • Key launch readiness activities and opportunities in growth brands to maximize Patient impact and business performance

  • Commercial Excellence team (strategically and operationally) on Enterprise initiatives and GTMx partnerships with external customers

Qualifications

MustHave

  • BA/BS Degree required with at least 8 years of previous pharmaceutical biotech or medical marketing/sales/consulting experience with a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry broader trends in healthcare landscape and economics.

  • Excellent analytical skills including strategic thinking ability to frame problems and opportunities using supporting data problem solving and measuring impact.

  • Demonstrated selfstarter proactively identifying the need for specific analyses and programs and marshaling the resources to evaluate and resolve the most challenging strategic issues.

  • Ability to both drive strategy and execute with speed and high quality.

  • Executive presence and ability to influence and establish working relationships across leader levels.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written PowerPointmeeting facilitation of different sizes).

  • Strong project and time management and organizational skills.

  • Thrives under pressure; takes accountability and meet deadlines.

  • Discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information.

NicetoHave

  • MBA or other advanced professional degree (e.g. PhD JD).

  • Prior experience and understanding nuances in Specialty Market is preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency at leading complex projects and managing crossfunctional teams.

  • Familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and understanding of working in a matrix environment.
