Position Description: The Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin (F & MCW) Transplant Service Line and the MCW Division of Transplant Surgery are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible liver transplant surgeon interested in advancing an academic career in a vibrant and growing transplant center. The liver transplant program underwent a transformational change in the last 18 months and has ambitious plans with innovation quality and clinical excellence for the future. The transplant program has a 20bed ICU that has outstanding expertise in the management of decompensated liver disease patients. The Service Line encompasses transplant programs in liver kidney pancreas heart and lung. Representing the most comprehensive pediatric and adult transplant care in Wisconsin and the region the service line is recognized for nationally ranked outcomes internationally known medical and surgical transplant specialists and endstage disease management innovation and groundbreaking research. It is a critical resource for Wisconsin and beyond. the Medical college of Wisconsin MCW is a major academic medical center; the largest research institution in the Milwaukee metro area and second largest in Wisconsin.
