Air Liquide Advanced Materials grows by enabling our customers to innovate. Our ALOHA and Voltaix products are critical to the manufacturer of the newest computer chips required for Big Data and the Internet of Things.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain a safe R&D lab environment by taking on active safety roles in the R&D lab
Complete SVC production orders to meet ontime delivery metrics
Fill and ship customer orders into cylinders/canisters
Routine operation of analytical instruments such as GC GCMS TGA and XRD
Conduct various processes such as stability testing routine purification and chemical reactions following wellestablished procedures
Work closely with chemists to produce mid to large scale samples for customers
Follow the guidelines and best practices related to lab notebooks data storage and backup
Help the lab organization by taking on active roles in maintaining various inventories and organizing the lab contents
Required Qualifications:
HS degree or BS degree in Chemistry
Experience with the handling of air and moisture sensitive molecules and hazardous and pyrophoric chemicals
Good communication skills
A team player that puts safety first
Motivated to gradually take on additional responsibilities and to continue education
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with scaling up synthesis to KG scale and above is a major plus
Good mechanical skills with experience building and assembling manifolds reactor systems and distillation setup
