These positions are Seasonal Parttime and eventbased.
Position Overview
The Customer Service & Security Event Staff Supervisor at Southern Methodist University (SMU) is responsible for overseeing game day operations and managing event staff across various roles including ushers ticket takers and security personnel. This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring both customer service and safety standards are upheld during all SMU Athletics events.
Supervisors will serve as the main point of contact for frontline staff assist with preevent briefings monitor staff performance address issues in real time and ensure compliance with event protocols. Events include home games for Football Mens and Womens Basketball Mens and Womens Soccer and Womens Volleyball. Opportunities to supervise external events in the Dallas area may also be available.
This is a seasonal parttime position with the majority of shifts scheduled between August and March.

Hourly Rate Starting at $18.00/hr while working as a supervisor and $14/hr for training. If no supervisor role is available and you want to work the Customer Service pay is $14/hr however working a Security role the pay rate is $16/hr.
