About role
Platform Engineers are tasked with building maintaining and evolving the core infrastructure that underpins a wide range of software applications and services. They collaborate closely with software developers data engineers IT operations and network teams to ensure the platform is robust scalable and highperforming. Their responsibilities include configuring and managing servers databases and networks applying modern technologies and following industry best practices. They also handle system monitoring troubleshoot issues and contribute to capacity planning security assessments and disaster recovery to ensure reliability. Staying current with industry trends is key to driving ongoing improvements. Success in this role requires strong problemsolving abilities clear communication and effective crossfunctional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Architecture and execution of migration to GCP
Management of multiplatform environments
Working alongside Platform Engineers to assess and choose suitable technologies and tools for the project
R&D maintenance and monitoring of the platforms components
Implementing intricate data intake procedures
Constructing efficient data models
Implementing and executing policies aligned with the companys strategic plans concerning used technologies work organization etc.
Providing training and fostering knowledgesharing
Job requirements
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
Solid understanding and practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Familiarity with the BigQuery data analytics platform
Handson experience with GKE and Docker
Background in software development with a strong grasp of engineering principles best practices and solution design
Indepth knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools including Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Proficient in version control systems preferably Git
Experience in administering Linux Unix and Windows environments
