Hours: FullTime 36.50 4.5 days in office

Travel: Up to 10%

Job Description:

As a Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for supporting service to the full site operation in meeting the business PQVC goals through maintenance and continuous improvements to the site facilities.

A Facilities Engineer is responsible for a range of site facilitiesbased maintenance functions including internal and external building repairs and alterations roadway repairs energy & utilities security hardware cleaning services HVAC data & power installations and indepth support and coordination of proactive capital projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing or assisting in both reactive and preventative maintenance & wellbeing activities.
  • Monitoring and maintaining parts and tools inventory for infrastructure components and services.
  • First line support for building service problems and work requests.
  • Working alongside a team of facilities engineers in support of facility value stream customers.
  • Advocate safety culture & performance within the Facilities Team and various contractors managed.
  • Lead and support capital projects in line with departmental strategic plans and business priorities.
  • Support NPI & capacity programs through appropriate resourcing of facility moves.

Top Candidates will have:

  • Facilities maintenance knowledge & experience.
  • Worked within the installation and maintenance function responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of large or multiple facility processes.
  • Experience in monitoring environmental safety and equipment requirements and conditions.
  • Participates in the development of change in support of the management team or business objectives.
  • Deals effectively with customers and vendor support staff to resolve routine problems.
  • Coordinates planning processes and establishes requirements for staff and equipment.
  • Monitors processes and procedures for developing and maintaining building security to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
  • Examines a specific problem and implements effective correct action and necessary communications.
  • Ability to develop alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Analytical skills creativity and logical thinking to reach a solution.
  • HNC qualified as minimum requirement.
    • NEBOSH/IOSH qualification or evidence of safety improvements.
    • Knowledge of PUWER/LOLER/CORGI/IEE regulations and other applicable legislation.
    • Excellent PC presentation and communication skills
    • Strong experience and understanding of all areas of site operating as a production environment.

Identifies project management tools and requirements within own function.
Describes the key objectives phases and deliverables of a current project.
Explains the concepts of phase activity task and deliverable.
Gives examples of critical paths in projects.
