Integrated Youth Services (IYS) in Canada:
Integrated Youth Services (IYS) is a dynamic movement across Canada and internationally that aims to build effective youthfocused and integrated services to address mental health substance use and related concerns among youth aged 12 to 25 years. IYS in Canada are demonstrating a global path forward in the implementation of evidencebased practices evidencegenerating practices and the development of an equity and engagementcentered integrated data platform infrastructure and associated governance models.
IYS Collaboration Centre:
The Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Collaboration Centre unites networks across Canada to strengthen mental health and substance use services for youth aged 1225. Supporting over 100 hubs including close ties to the ACCESS Open Minds Indigenous Youth Network the Centre promotes integrated care across health education employment housing and community supports. Guided by Truth and Reconciliation equity and youth engagement it fosters knowledge sharing leadership development and scalable evidencebased tools. As a Learning Health System it uses data and realworld practice to drive continuous service improvement through a digital learning hub national exchanges and implementation support.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Director PanCanadian Research and Implementation Initiatives Integrated Youth Services Collaboration Centre the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the research data and implementation teams. The incumbent will be responsible for managing schedules coordinating meetings and events preparing correspondence and presentations assisting with budget tracking and supporting special projects across multiple national initiatives.
The Administrative Assistant will act as a key liaison with internal teams and external partners including healthcare organizations research institutions government partners IYS and community agencies across Canada. A high degree of confidentiality discretion and professionalism is required. The successful candidate will be proactive highly organized and able to work effectively in a dynamic fastpaced and collaborative environment that values diversity innovation and teamwork.
This is a fulltime contract position (12 months) with potential for renewal is located at the Centre of Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) at 1001 Queen Street West.
