Job Description
The Coop Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Senior CAD Specialist on a permanent basis with our Technical Services team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Regina SK with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week.
We are seeking an experienced CAD Specialist with a strong background in industrial environments to join our team. This role requires a selfmotivated professional who can operate independently while effectively collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. What youll do:
- Lead the installation configuration maintenance and user support of CAD and 3D modeling software ensuring systems align with technical drafting standards and refinery requirements.
- Act as the subject matter expert providing mentorship training and guidance to internal drafting teams and external consultants on CAD tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with software vendors to resolve complex issues manage license agreements and coordinate system updates and customizations in alignment with business needs and budget.
- Develop and enforce CAD drafting and piping specifications in compliance with regulatory and internal standards ensuring consistency across engineering projects.
- Support related systems such as CMMS and laser scan software and contribute to budgeting and forecasting for CAD software advancements.
Who youll work with:
The Team: You will work on a team of draftspersons will report into the Drafting Supervisor and will provide support to a variety stakeholders such as engineers maintenance EPCs etc.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in CAD support and administration and:
- Have 6 years experience in drafting and/or CAD software ideally within an industrial setting. Experience working with MicroStation and OpenPlant within Bentley Systems would be an asset.
- Have a twoyear diploma from a recognized institute (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Are adept in providing a high level of customer service able to work independently and can effectively prioritize workload.
