Veterans Community Project (VCP) Overview
Founded in 2016 in Kansas City MO VCP is dedicated to supporting every man and woman who took the oath to defend our nation. The greatest barrier to ending Veteran homelessness is the revolving door of unstable housing and the frustrating maze Veterans must navigatein order toget basic support. We believe that to be an effective program the first step is to connect Veterans and the community. VCP created an innovative homeless housing program and outreachassistancethat provides inclusive services to aid Veterans in reclaiming control over their lives.

Position Summary:
The Case Manager (CM) plays a key role in engaging and supporting Veterans who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This position provides flexible Veterancentered support in both community and residential settings. TheCMhelps Veterans access emergencyassistance develop housing and stability plans connect to resources and achieve longterm goals. By building trust and offering consistent support theCMensures Veterans receive the services needed to improve quality of life transition into stable housingfoster meaningful connections in the communityand sustain personal progress.

Property Oversight and Safety
Supports a safe and wellmaintained environment by conducting regular walkthroughs of residential areas toidentifyhazards or maintenance needs. Reports issues promptly to the Operations team and works collaboratively tofacilitatetimelyrepairs and upkeep. Ensures living spaces meet safety standards and provide a stable setting for Veterans working toward their housing and recovery goals.
