Job Description
About the Role: We are looking for a US Regulatory Attorney to join our team. In this challenging role you will be providing and/or coordinating legal advice and support to the Fabrics businesses and functions across a broad range of State and Federal US laws and regulatory developments in EH&S product and chemical stewardship trade data privacy and sustainability matters. You will be a key member of the Gore Fabrics Legal Compliance and Data Privacy (LCDP) Team counseling our business across a wide variety of industries including direct to consumer safety and defense as well as our functional business partners. Direct report line to the FAB LCDP GC.
This position will be locatedin Elkton Maryland with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Pay and Benefits:
- $176000 $202000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year based on defined business performance metrics.
- Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education experience knowledge skills and abilities.

- Collaborative working style while engaging with Fabrics LCDP Team and Enterprise functions to deliver actionable advice to the Fabrics businesses to drive compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Consistently deliver actionable timely and proactive legal advice that enables business action with sound risk/reward analysis
- Ability to influence others to create optimal outcomes on behalf of the business
- Willingness to develop knowledge in additional subject matter areas as needed in support of the legal needs of the Fabrics business
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law with bar admission in the US JD required
- Minimum 4 years of experience counseling clients in US regulatory law
- Demonstrated experience providing regulatory advocacy or use of negotiation skills with governmental regulatory bodies
- Experience in negotiating and advising on contracts letters statements and other documents related to operational matters in said practice areas
- Must be current in provide proactive guidance and maintain knowledge of new regulatory initiatives/projects and deliver appropriate legal analyses
- Management of external counsel investments in alignment with business priorities and LCDP financial forecasts
- Skilled in drafting appropriate regulatory submissions and statements
- Ability to travel 1525%: some domestic and occasional international travel required
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in managing employment matters is a plus
- Familiarity with Fluoromaterial chemistry and emerging related State and Federal laws and regulations
- Product stewardship or sustainability experience
This position requires access to exportcontrolled areas and must be U.S. persons as that term is defined in 8 USC 1324b(a)(3).
