Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement the Associate Director serves as a key partner in implementing a comprehensive annual giving program and supporting innovative programs that advance a culture of philanthropy with La Salles more than 60000 alumni around the world. The Associate Director will work closely with the Advancement team to facilitate volunteer opportunities and programs designed to build connections between students and alumni that will strengthen lifelong engagement and encourage a mutually beneficial and shared investment in the university. This position will work internally with students faculty and staff members of the Career Development team and all members of University Advancement and externally with alumni and donors.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree; equivalent work experience will be considered. 12 years of alumni engagement fundraising or applicable relationship/customer service experience. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal campus partners and external with donors and affinity group members. Excellent customer service mindset. Strong written and oral communication skills. Capable of managing multiple projects priorities and deadlines. Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Salesforce or other customer relations management databases. Background with stewardship tools like ThankView. La Salle University alumna or alumnus
