Job Description
Brunswicks Special Education Department seeks an anticipated ed. tech. III to join our preK team at Kate Furbish Elementary School. The preK program consists of four classrooms at KFS and two classrooms at the Brunswick Landing location. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic functional and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students programs and demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students challenging behaviors. Successful candidates will also implement specially designed instruction in the regular and special education settings at the KFS and/or Brunswick Landing location. Additionally successful candidates will support a wide range of needs including but not limited to academic functional and behavioral. Support models may include working 1:1 in the small group setting and within the classroom. Successful Candidates will also provide support on Special Education transportation.
Qualifications
- 2 Years of College or Equivalent Experience preferred
- Ed Tech Authorization through the Maine Department of Education
- Maine Criminal History Records Check
