JOB SUMMARY: MSI seeks a Service Manager to oversee and manage the service operation including the service personnel in both the field and office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage safety polices and compliance
- Ensure Technicians are equipped with the appropriate PPE
- Responsible for scheduling and hosting safety training
- Responsible for ensuring safe work practices are being met in the field through job site & vehicle inspections
- Respond to all customer inquiries within 1 business day
- Handle customer complaints/relationship
- Perform at minimum 1 touch point with all service agreement customers per year
- Manage contract renewals and contract renewal log
- Write new PM contracts as needed
- Approve new contracts to be set up in COINS
- Host Kick off Meeting for new contracts
- Assist with the management of Technician tools
- Perform manpower planning as needed
- Compiles the Top Ten Report Weekly Indicator Report Aging Report (weekly updates) Tech Analysis Report
- Review/Approve T&M Billing
- Review/Approve Payroll
- Approve job credits below 5K
- Manage profitability of work orders and contracts
- Assist with scheduling of jobs
- Conduct New Hire Orientation as well as New Hire iPad and COINS Training
- Act as and HR and IT liaison
- Completes Technician Disciplinary Actions (coordinated with Field Supervisor and General Manager)
- Assist with CRM support as needed
- Assist with obtaining current insurance as needed COIs
- Quote Tech jobs
- Help drive sales through tech quoting and sales support as required
- Participates in quality association with trade/business associations that enhance the companys mission business plan.
- Assist with Training schedule for office and Technicians
- Promote and participate in education and training opportunities that allow the company and its employees to meets stated goals objectives and business plans.
- Provides junior associates with a role model example of the companys business and work ethics as delineated in MSIs Mission Statement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- 6 or more years of experience in HVAC service/maintenance environment.
- Indepth understanding and appreciation of HVAC systems and related supporting utilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to direct motivate and train employees
- Proficient knowledge of customer service and standard office practices and procedures.
- Proficient knowledge or Microsoft Office
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical numerical and reasoning abilities.
- High energy level.
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisivebut able to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities.
- Participative management styleadvocate of team concept.
- Physical activities to include standing balancing climbing stairs & ladders walking and lifting of weights of 25lbs. or more are required in daily performance of job. Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching pushing and pulling material handling.
