Our Opportunity
We currently have an excellent opportunity due to internal changes and growth and are seeking Fitter/Service Technician to join our team in a dual role as a fitter and service technician.
A typical day will have you working in the workshop or out in the field being the face of NEPEAN Transport to our valued customers across Australia. Assembly of New Equipment Calibrations Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on Roller Brake Testers Equipment Breakdowns and Upgrades will be the norm.
This role is perfect for someone looking to grow and establish themselves within the business.
Based in Campbelltown NSW providing prompt and effective resolution to equipment breakdowns and customer service the duties will include however not be limited to:
- Working on the assembly line
- Calibration of brake testers
- Equipment upgrades
- Equipment breakdowns & troubleshooting
- Commissioning and training of new installations
- Preventative maintenance
- Clearly communicate to the customer the problem found and the solution required.
- Develop maintain andapply a high level of productknowledge.
- Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as companypolicies.
The Right Person
To be considered for this unique opportunity you require:
- Relevant Trade Qualification.
- Prior experience in a similar role within industrial mining materials handling or manufacturing industries.
- Effective communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to travel domestically.
- Hold a current Australian Drivers License.
- Current work rights in Australia.
- Team player a high sense of responsibility and problemsolving.
- Customer minded understanding the importance of quality.
- Undergo a National Police check and a PreEmployment Medical.
