DescriptionThe Global Training & Intelligence Manager will be responsible for executing the Church Security Departments global training strategy across all divisions to include training and standards for Area Security Managers. This role will also oversee the intelligence and monitoring activities of the Global Watch Team and be responsible for analyzing and publishing risk assessments drafted by relevant security managers. The role will leverage the incumbents substantive experience in curriculum development and intelligence analysis.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Partner with CSD management to establish global security training standards and curriculum.
- Ensure consistency in execution of security training across the department and to the Areas aligned with CSD goals.
- Direct as well as conduct the research analysis and processing of opensource information to produce strategic intelligence reports.
- Responsible for vetting and analyzing third party intelligence sources.
- Support operational intelligence needs by proactively identifying emerging threats and publishing objective risk assessments.
- Operationally task the Global Watch Team (GWT) manager and provide training and development of GWT members.
- Develop and maintain liaison relationships with government corporate and faithbased intelligence partners.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Current endowed member with a Full Use Temple Recommend and record of faithful Church service
- Eligible for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit
- Education: Bachelors degree required
- Experience: 5 years of experience as a supervisory intelligence analyst or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the role
- Ability to quickly forge productive relationships and build networks at all levels internally and externally to the Church
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel sometimes on short notice
- Operate within moderate to high personal risk in threatening and hostile conditions.
- Ability and willingness to accept legal and reputational risk.
- Must successfully pass a background check and psychological suitability assessment.
- Continued employment is contingent on successful completion of a sixweek basic training course which includes defensive tactics OC spray baton firearms and written tests.
Must be capable of the following:
- Physical activity for this job includes visual acuity hearing climbing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting fingering grasping feeling and repetitive motion. Some sedentary work and heavy work required.
