Summer Special Education Evaluation Team
LPS is seeking qualified professionals to conduct Individualized Education Program (IEP) evaluations over the summer.
Positions Available:
School Psychologists
SpeechLanguage Pathologists (SLPs)
Occupational Therapists (OTs)
Physical Therapists (PTs)
Special Education Teachers
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive IEP evaluations for students referred for special education services
Engage directly with students during assessment sessions
Complete timely highquality evaluation reports (with a maximum of 2 hours writing time allotted per report)
Work with evaluation team and families to schedule students for evaluations
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification in your discipline
Previous experience in schoolbased evaluation preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Compensation:
$50/hour for studentfacing time
$40/hour for reportwriting time (up to 2 hours per evaluation)
Schedule:Flexible determined based on availability and student needs. Evaluations will be scheduled throughout the summer months.
