Amazons Middle Mile Transportation Technology team creates sophisticated software solutions across vendors warehouses and carriers to optimize delivery time and cost. Our services process thousands of requests per second influence decisions worth billions annually integrate with carriers large and small worldwide manage business rules for millions of products and enhance the shopping experience for millions of customers.

Youll develop realtime systems to monitor transportation network execution collaborate with customers and leadership teams and drive technology projects and operational excellence initiatives.
This role requires building highly scalable systems strong communication skills and delivering results in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate enjoys complex system challenges prioritizes customer needs and is passionate about creating quality software that meets operational goals. Experience with distributed systems and web services at scale is particularly valuable.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
