Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will fully remote responsible for mechanical repair servicing installation commissioning and fault finding on industrial mechanical systems mainly blowers and pumps at customer sites working with water authorities across the South UK.
This is a fieldbased role focused on supporting industrial mechanical systems used within water treatment utilities and general industrial environments.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engine will ideally have mechanical service experience with a good working knowledge of related electrical systems. Full manufacturing training is provided.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role
- Provide mechanical service installation commissioning and breakdown support for industrial equipment at customer sites across Hampshire Sussex Kent and surrounding regions.
- Carry out fault finding diagnostics and repairs on rotating machinery and mechanical systems used in treatment and manufacturing processes.
- Support mechanical installation and commissioning work across a variety of client sectors including water utilities and industrial plants.
- Provide onsite advice and solutions for performance issues system reliability and equipment upgrades.
- This is a fieldbased role focused on supporting industrial mechanical systems used within water treatment utilities and general industrial environments.
- Fully remote role covering a regional patch across the South UK
- Liaise with internal technical teams and support departments as needed
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements
- Background as a Field Service Engineer Service Technician Mechanical Engineer Installation Engineer or similar.
- Experience servicing and maintaining mechanical systems including rotating equipment blowers pumps compressed air systems vacuum systems water treatment HVAC chillers filtration hydraulics valves or similar
- Strong mechanical bias with basic electrical knowledge
- Confident reading engineering drawings schematics and technical manuals
- Mechanical engineering qualifications or apprenticetrained background advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South UK Hampshire Sussex Kent and surrounding areas
