The International Trade and investment practice based in Brussels is seeking a dynamic and committed Trainee to join our team for a six months period starting June/July 2025.As a Trainee in the international Trade team you will assist in the preparation of legal advice on a wide range of EU and international trade matters including economic sanctions and export controls trade defence customs and trade policy issues.
You will practice as part of one of the worlds largest trade practices praised by clients for having a strong team of wellconnected professionals who are proactive and forwardthinking (Chambers Europe 2025) and having a team with deep knowledge skill and connections to key regulators and policymakers (Chambers Global 2025). They also appreciated our global reach and depth of experience as well as a reallife businesssavvy approach (Chambers Global 2025).
What are we looking for
Excellent academic credentials with a postgraduate degree in EU law.
You are a qualified lawyer or in the process of obtaining your qualification.
Experience in another law firm and in the International Trade sector is appreciated.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Curious by nature problem solver with strong business acumen.
An international outlook a multicultural mindset.
Resilient attentive to detail and focused on delivering high quality and professional results.
