How do you excel in this position
We are seeking a detailoriented professional to support the execution of construction projects from start to finish balancing budget quality and schedule. This role involves coordinating with clients subcontractors and project stakeholders; managing tasks and documentation; leading meetings; and supervising onsite activities. Responsibilities include tracking project progress ensuring safety and contract compliance handling RFIs and change orders reviewing invoices and managing project closeout. Reporting to the Project or Construction Manager this position may support one large project or multiple smaller ones and requires both onsite and office work.
What are we looking for
- High school diploma required.
- At least 1 year of project administration/support experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction or HVAC industry required.
- Must have or be able to obtain 10hour OSHA certification.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast pace setting and adapt/be flexible in a changing environment.
- Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices such as Smartphones iPads etc.
- Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings is required.
What would we love to see
- Associates degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- 13 years of project management and/or field experience in building infrastructure and/or energy reduction initiatives preferred.
- Bilingual written and verbal English and Spanish language ability is a plus.
- Sound understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering preferred.
