Key Accountabilities

• Originate regulatory-compliant residential mortgage loan applications through community outreach and referral relationships.

• Conduct pre-qualification interviews to recommend appropriate loan programs based on customer needs.

• Manage loan files from application through closing ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Develop relationships with realtors builders attorneys and other centers of influence to generate leads.

• Promote mortgage loan programs in low-to-moderate income communities and serve as a liaison to community organizations.

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services or refer customers to appropriate partners.

• Track and follow up on leads and applications maintaining communication throughout the loan process.

• Maintain compliance with S.A.F.E. Act registration and all applicable banking regulations.

Education & Experience

Required:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1 years of residential loan processing or origination experience with a financial institution or mortgage company

Preferred:

• Bilingual or community outreach experience a plus
