What does a successful Application Support Specialist do

As an experienced member of Open Systems Programming team the successful candidate will be responsible for installing upgrading configuring monitoring troubleshooting and ensuring the security compliance of various DNA Data Center products. This role involves participating in Go Live/Merger events providing oncall support and collaborating with the Programming and Release Deployment teams.

What you will do:

• Install upgrade and configure DNA Connect Notifi tMagic and MPI products for DNA Data Center clients.

• Participate in Go Live/Merger events and complete Programming team tasks during these events.

• Monitor data center infrastructure for optimal performance and uptime using observability tools.

• Provide oncall support for major incidents during US night time.

• Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated and realtime data connectivity issues for DNA Core DNA Connect Notifi tMagic and MPI products.

• Fix data issues related to file transmission errors.

• Resolve aborts long runners file load and file process issues for daily batch processing.

• Complete all client inquiries and tasks assigned to the Programming team within SLA.

• Support the Release Deployment team during yearly major upgrades for validation of DNA Core MPI Notifi DNA Connect and tMagic.

• Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field

• Experience 1012 years

• Proven experience in data center operations and product configuration.

• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

• Knowledge of data security standards and encryption practices.

• Knowledge of ticketing tools like ServiceNow

• Sound knowledge and practical approach towards ITIL concepts especially Incident Management Change Management and Problem Management

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with the next level teams and clients solve major issues.

• Experience working in the financial industry would be a benefit.

• Automation and scripting proficiency (scheduled jobs Splunk Python Selenium)

• Flexible to work in shift or weekend on business demand.

• Experience in Site Reliability
