ABOUT
St. Augustine School in Kitsilano is hiring a Grade 3 Teacher starting in September 2025. This is a fulltime position for the entire academic year. Candidates will have a background in primary teaching and be willing and capable of working collaboratively with the teacher in our other Grade 3 class (we are a doublestream school) Education Assistants parents and their fellow teachers and staff members. The successful candidate will assist with the extracurricular program of the school and be involved in school life. It is an asset to have taught primary literacy; have a proficiency in technology and in particular the use of SeeSaw and Google Workspace and have experience using programs such as Reading and Writing Power Reading AZ PM Benchmarks and Second Step in your teaching are also assets. Candidates will have a background in intermediate teaching and be willing and capable of working collaboratively with the teacher in our other Grade 7 class (we are a doublestream school) Education Assistants parents and their fellow teachers and staff members. The successful candidate will assist with the extracurricular program of the school and be involved in school life. It is an asset to have taught a Sacramental Year preferably this grade level for the Sacrament of Confirmation; a proficiency in technology and in particular the use of Google Workspace and the use of programs such Seesaw as well as Second Step in your teaching are also assets.
