Junior Solicitor
- Full time fixed term role for 12 months

About the role
We are seeking a Junior Solicitor to join our Dispute Resolution and Litigation branch. The successful incumbent will conduct a variety of legal matters under supervision and guidance and will be responsible for managing a mixed portfolio of litigated and nonlitigated matters.
About the Team
Our team is part of the Clients Resolutions division which plays a critical role in the success of the TAC. Our area is responsible for supporting our seriously injured clients to get their lives back on track following a road transport accident. You will be part of a vibrant and supportive team led by a trusting manager who has a large focus on wellbeing and flexibility. You will be joining a work environment that is collaborative and fast paced.
What were looking for
Relevant Qualifications & Experience
All candidates must hold a current Victorian Practicing Certificate from the Legal Services Board. Knowledge of the Transport Accident Act common law principles and relevant jurisdictions. Experience managing VCAT serious injury and common law claims is advantageous.
Analytical & Strategic Skills
Strong conceptual analytical and strategic skills with the ability to handle complex matters.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Demonstrated understanding of litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
