Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Shopping Finance Team supporting and partnering with the Stores Foundational AI and Rufus teams. We at Shopping finance are at the intersection of Amazon Retail and Shopping Technology. We are insightful influential inquisitive and analytical. As a Finance Manager you will work closely with finance and business leaders to develop financial models provide analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts turn insights into operational measurements and identify paths to improve the planning and reporting process.
Key job responsibilities
Analyze and manage quantitative data to create meaningful analyses and build financial models that drive business decisions.
Create improve and maintain reports for key financial and operational metrics.
Analyze monthly financial and business metrics report on key trends vs. plan peel back the layers to understand underlying drivers of financial performance.
Perform monthend close related activities.
Execute monthly quarterly and adhoc operating expense reports for the business
Partner with business teams to enable success in the annual Goals process.
Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes including implementation of best practices and collaborate with other teams.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science)
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
