Position Overview

The Quality Manager leads Spirits AS9100 quality management system overseeing nonconformance management quality metrics documentation control and internal audit programs. This position ensures compliance with aerospace industry requirements while driving continuous improvement in quality processes.


US PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to US Export control laws must be a US Citizen Permanent Resident or have protected status.


Responsibilities

  • Manage quality department staff and AS9100 quality management system
  • Oversee nonconformance management and corrective action programs
  • Develop and monitor quality performance metrics and objectives
  • Direct internal audit program and external certification activities
  • Manage document control systems and quality records
  • Lead management review meetings and improvement initiatives
  • Oversee supplier quality management processes
  • Direct quality training and certification programs
  • Manage quality system budget and resources
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements
  • Lead risk management activities
  • Interface with customers on quality matters
  • Drive quality culture and process improvements
  • Manage quality management software systems


Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in AS9100 quality management systems with 5 years in a leadership or management role
  • Bachelors degree in quality management business supply chain management or related field
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor certification required
  • Expert knowledge of aerospace quality management requirements
  • Strong background in process improvement
  • Experience managing quality teams
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Expert knowledge of risk management methodologies
