Job Description
Job Title: Mechanic
Location: Nepean Ottawa ON
Annual salary :$70000 $100000 CAD
Shift: Weekdays 7am 4pm or 10am 7pm); Saturdays 7am 1pm possibly full day)
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics using tools like OBD scanners and multimeters.
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance (oil changes tire rotations fluid checks brake inspections).
- Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs including engine transmission and suspension work.
- Handle safety inspections and prepare vehicles for emissions and roadworthiness tests.
- Collaborate with team members while also working independently.
- Clearly explain technical issues to customers and maintain detailed service records.
Requirements:
- Licensed 310S Technician (newly licensed 310S or transitional 310T considered).
- Own set of tools (toolbox provided at the shop).
- Physically fit (must lift over 50 lbs and work with heavy machinery)..
- Must pass a drug test.
Bonus Assets:
- Experience using Reynolds and ServiceDesk software.
