Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSTIVE POSITION
Schedule: 12 hour rotating/swing shift 77
Pay is commensurate with experience
Job Summary: Supervises the operation and maintenance of equipment and employees related to the shelling and milling of rice. Conducts frequent inspections to ensure that equipment is functioning properly the product is within specifications and housekeeping is adequately maintained. Monitors and confirms accurate documentation of production maintenance and sanitation procedures according to food safety and quality assurance guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess working knowledge of cleaning shelling paddy milling and sorting equipment.
- Must possess working knowledge of grading and conveying equipment and baghouses.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must possess basic mechanical skills.
- Must possess written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds when needed.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 40 feet.
- Must be willing and able to bend stoop twist turn push and pull throughout the day.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
