The Navigator is one of the first college representatives prospective students meet and will continue to interact with throughout their time at BMCC providing a consistent and knowledgeable touchpoint.
The Navigator is part of the students admission process connecting students to support services and first term course selection. Coordinate the admission process and answer general questions about BMCC and its programs assist students through BMCCs processes assists them to navigate enrollment services guides them through intake provides needed referrals engages students in career counseling assists them in choosing their program and then provides a warm handoff to support services on campus.
The liaison for all academic programs and coordinates efforts to provide intentional intervention techniques coaching and training for all navigators as they serve students.
Assist the Colleges overall diversity equity and inclusion efforts by attending trainings and workshops focused on issues facing our prospective and current historically underrepresented students.
This position performs all functions and activities within the guidelines and philosophy set forth in the BMCC Mission Vision and Strategic Plan.

This is a part time position up to 29 hours per week as needed. Part time employees earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
Pay: $22.00 $29.00 DOE
