About This Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant youll play a key role in maintaining and reconciling our fixed asset register ensuring accuracy across our general ledger and fleet tracking system. Youll work closely with operational teams to support financial reporting monthend processes and audits while helping to drive efficiency and financial clarity.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset register with financial and operational systems
- Prepare depreciation and asset disposal journals
- Carry out variance analysis and provide insightful commentary
- Assist in producing monthly management accounts budgets and forecasts
- Support yearend audits and financial reporting
- Prepare intercompany statements for intragroup asset transfers
- Provide data analysis to drive financial decisionmaking
About You
Were looking for someone with a strong financial mindset and a passion for accuracy. Youll need to be a confident communicator able to translate financial data into valuable insights for both finance and nonfinance colleagues.
- Partqualified or fully qualified in CIMA ACCA ACA or AAT
- Experience in fixed asset accounting and management accounts
- Advanced Excel skills and an analytical approach
- Selfmotivated with great attention to detail
- Able to build trust and credibility across departments
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines
