SUMMARY OF POSITION
The County of Monterey Health Departments Public Health Bureau has an opening for a full time Community Service Aide III (CSA III) in the California Childrens Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Program (MTP). The CSA III assists professional personnel (physicians physical and occupational therapists) in the delivery of public health services in health clinics and in the field. They are expected to independently perform a full range of duties in both direct and indirect patient care and support provide Spanish/English translation and assist in a team concept for the delivery of services to patients and their families. In the CCS MTP the CSA III works closely with physical and occupational therapists in the delivery of therapy services to children with special needs as well as maintains the organization and hygiene of the therapy clinic and completes clerical duties necessary to support program operation. The position requires Spanish/English translation as needed for all activities.
