About the organization: Compass Family Services is a 100 year old nonprofit working on the front lines of San Franciscos homeless crisis. We provide families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with comprehensive support to address immediate needs and ensure longterm success.
About the team: Compass CRent team provides San Francisco families with financial assistance to prevent eviction or pay for movein costs on a new home. Families are also provided with case management to support them in becoming economically selfsufficient and maintaining their housing.
Compensation: $2630 per hour
Schedule: Full time (7.5 hours/day) Monday Friday primarily during standard working hours

What the Eviction Prevention Specialist will do:
The Eviction Prevention Specialist will work with families in the CRent program helping atrisk families access funds to pay back rent and utilities so they dont become homeless. They will also provide support and referrals to assist families in maintaining stability. This is a fastpaced position which requires someone with deep compassion for families facing homelessness an ability to juggle many responsibilities at once and strong attention to detail. In addition to the work with families this position includes significant dataentry into Salesforce and funder databases.
