Job Description
- Must be familiar with heavy construction and heavy construction safety water plants wastewater plants industrial facilities and highways
- Required to write and/or modify safety procedures and protocols
- Perform safety inspections provide safety options in own meetings
- Must participate in safety committee discussions and insurance reviews
- Perform field safety inspections
- Must be able to assist in safety solutions on site
- Required to work with multiple teams on safetyrelated issues
- Able to address safety issues immediately
Requirements
- 13 years in construction safety management
- Associates or bachelors degree in an accredited safety program engineering program or similar
- Proficiency in knowing and understanding OSHA regulations
- Ability to write skillfully and suggest modifications to safety procedures
- Local projects may be within a couple of hours of Trenton NJ
- Solid Microsoft skills including Excel
- Ability to read construction plans/specs a plus
- Ability to teach internal safety classes a plus
- Comfortable speaking to owner representatives about safety issues
