Position Overview
We are seeking a smart individual with a mind for both practical bigpicture thinking and careful attentiveness to technical details who will serve in the key role of Lead Web Developer in our team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional with 10 years of experience developing webbased software for midsizetolarge organizations and who is inspired by the challenge of bringing quality solutions to small businesses. This role requires a heart to train and advise fellow team members in skillfully solving problems a respect for realworld budgetary constraints the ability to think longterm rather than shortterm and the insight to discern what the customer truly needs.
The ideal candidate will take pride in his or her work engage effectively with customers to understand their needs and identify innovative reliable solutions. The candidate should have a proven track record of designing practical web applications to solve realworld problems along with mentoring experience guiding development teams in building testing and delivering applications on time.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering professional growth.
Project Oversight and Delivery: Manage web development projects ensuring timely delivery scope adherence and quality standards.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders aligning development with customer needs and expectations.
Code Quality and Best Practices: Enforce best practices in code quality testing version control and efficient development workflows.
Contributing to System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with the Lead Architect on system design ensuring alignment between web development and architecture.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in web development including designing and supporting fullstack web applications.
Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g. PHP Python JavaScript/ Java C# C) and frameworks / CMSes (e.g. Vue Angular React Laravel Symfony WordPress ProcessWire Spring Boot).
Strong database expertise SQL queries and optimization data normalization NoSQL databases.
Linux / Unix server administration and scripting experience. Administration and deployment of applications in Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
Experience working in cloud platforms particularly AWS and exposure to BaaS PaaS and IaaS solutions.
Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI lowcode/nocode platforms IoT and blockchain.
Excellent problemsolving skills attention to detail and organization skills.
Strong inperson and written communication skills with a proven track record of managing client relationships and leading technical teams.

Workplace Structure
Fulltime position with hybrid and remote options:
Candidates within 90 minutes of the South Windsor CT office will be expected to work onsite two days per week.
Candidates outside the CT/MA/RI region may apply if they have a successful track record of working remotely with expectation of making periodic trips to the Connecticut office.
