Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous sideline coverage for various school sporting events within EMT scope of practice
- Respond to cardiac emergencies and provide necessary intervention
- Evaluate and manage concussions in accordance with state licensure laws
- Monitor and respond to heatrelated illnesses
- Evaluate and treat skin abrasions wounds and other topical conditions
- Assess and treat soft tissue musculoskeletal injuries
- Document patient information accurately and promptly
Requirements
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sideline sports or eventrelated EMT experience (Required)
- Current EMT Certification (Required)
- Valid Driver s License (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Required)
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients families and athletic teams
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient mobility
