Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Pryor OK
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support shipping receiving inventory and materials movement operations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining production flow by accurately processing labeling and transporting materials throughout the facility.
Primary Responsibilities
Ship receive inspect store issue and deliver materials equipment and supplies
Load and unload deliveries manually or with forklifts/pallet jacks
Label store and pack/unpack products
Read and follow work orders and ensure accuracy of job numbers
Maintain inventory records and update material movement documentation
Verify material quantities and condition upon receipt
Prepare products for shipment according to specifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic data entry and math skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Effective verbal and written communication
Previous experience operating material handling equipment preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
Must be able to walk and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Frequent movement including twisting pulling kneeling crouching and grasping
Work is performed in an industrial environment
