HUB Veterinary Group is growing! Were looking for a FullTime Veterinary Technician to join our Port Chester NY location where we provide both general practice and urgent care services for dogs and cats. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment love working handson with patients and have solid surgical experience we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Vet Tech at HUB youll be a vital part of our medical team. Youll support doctors during exams and surgery assist with urgent care cases educate clients and help keep the clinic running smoothly and compassionately.
Your daytoday may include:
- Assisting in routine and emergency surgeries (including prep monitoring and recovery)
- Performing diagnostics (bloodwork radiographs UA fecals etc.)
- Placing IV catheters and administering medications
- Assisting in triage and urgent care situations
- Communicating clearly with clients about treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records
What Were Looking For:
- 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician (LVT preferred but not required)
- Strong surgical and anesthesia monitoring skills required
- Experience in urgent/emergency care a major plus
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced team environment
- Positive proactive and compassionate approach to patient and client care
